About
Who you're
working with.
Specialising in contract advisory, negotiation and drafting for the UK television industry. With experience across drama, comedy, children's and factual production, it means I'm familiar with how things really work on the ground — the pace, the pressure, and what it takes to keep things moving.
From production companies to individual producers, directors and talent, I work collaboratively with my clients throughout the negotiation process — engaging directly with agents and representatives and remaining accessible for the full duration of a project. Quick turnarounds and staying responsive are central to how I work.
"I offer flexible working arrangements, from an agreed hourly or daily rate through to project-based fees or ongoing retainers. I'm set up to be flexible and fit around what your production needs."
Track Record
Production
experience.
With over a decade in UK television, I've worked across drama, comedy, children's and factual entertainment for broadcasters and streamers including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, AcornTV and Paramount+.
What I Do
Specialist BA support
across the slate.
01
Artist Agreements
Cast deal negotiation and contract drafting within the PACT/Equity framework. Lead, supporting and child artists, handled with precision and speed.
02
Directors & Producers
Drafting and negotiating director and producer engagements, ensuring rights, credits and delivery terms align with both production and commissioner requirements.
03
Crew & Stunt
From stunt co-ordinators and performers through to HODs and crew — contracts drafted and negotiated.
04
Writers
Writer agreements across every stage — from early exclusivity deals, treatments and script options through to writers' rooms and detailed script/format agreements.
05
Presenters & Puppeteers
From presenter engagements across formats to specialist puppeteer agreements for children's television.
06
Other Production Requirements
Contracts for the wider production process — from location and material licence agreements to specialist consultant engagements for script editors, intimacy co-ordinators, dialogue consultants and translators.
Also
An Extended Network
Commissioning agreements, music & theatre deals and book options sit outside my core remit — but not outside my network. Where specialist legal input is required, I work alongside experienced creative industry lawyers and music specialists and can facilitate introductions.
